Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that uses props to provide a completely supportive environment with a focus on total relaxation and reduce the effects of stress on the mind and body.

Location: Spirit Wind Internal Arts

Get yourself grounded for fall, restore your body and strengthen your immune system for winter. This 12 week Pre- registered Restorative Yoga series is a wonderful practice for the demands of living in today’s busy world. Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that uses props to provide a completely supportive environment with a focus on total relaxation. By assisting the body in postures, you are able to connect with your breath. By holding the postures for longer periods the effects go beyond the muscle structure, reaching into the organs and tissues. This practice helps both stimulate and calm the body/ mind. All poses help to create specific physiological responses that benefit health and reduce the effects of stress on the mind and body.
