Global Yoga Week, 2010 – Registration

We are pleased to inform you that the Global Yoga Alliance under the aegis of Sadhana Niketan Yogashram and in association with the World Religious Parliament and Asian Academy of Films & Television will organize Global Yoga Week from 25th – 30th November, 2010 in NCR, Delhi. This is the first Mega Event ever organized in India which is supported by many lead Yoga Institutions/organizations and universities of the country. The Global Yoga Week has been dedicated for Global Peace, Progress & Prosperity. The theme of the International Yoga Seminar will be ‘Yoga For Holistic Living’. The 3 days program will be organized at Starex Knowledge Park, Delhi Jaipur National Highway (near Manesar) while 2 days International Workshop on Yoga will be held at Vanaprastha Ashram, Rishikesh the theme of the workshop will be ‘Neglected Aspects of Life Management’.
This event will be managed by MCI, a globally integrated association, communication and event management company.
In this time of exponentially growing stress and violence, with destructive global implications, Yoga offers an excellent means of achieving the goal of, ‘Yoga Mayam Vishwam Kuru’, (bringing about Global Peace, Progress and Prosperity).

Today, our environment has become polluted and our lifestyle has become unhealthy which has led to large-scale usage of medicinal drugs worldwide to cure numerous ailments, thus leading to lifestyle related disorders. In fact we would go far enough to say that in numerous cases, people are taking more medicines than they are consuming food! It is therefore crucial that we restore the true practice of Yoga by bringing all its true exponents under a single umbrella where they can restore Yoga to its correct interpretation and practice and provide the drugless, preventive, promotive and curative aspects of Yoga, which could lead to the well being of all Mankind.
About 1000 delegates representing more than 30 countries will participate in this mega event.
We humbly request all the Global Yoga Fraternity to wholeheartedly participate in this first of its kind unique event, which would not only serve as an excellent platform to bring Yogis worldwide together on a single platform, but more importantly demonstrate to the world at large that Yoga has no boundaries or any kind of religious implications as it is a highly developed Science meant for all. My revered Global Yoga Brotherhood, nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see as many of you as I can in November, where I promise you will gain some rich insights from accomplished Yoga Masters.
In case you want to make a presentation of your paper please inform us about your topic by 15th October, 2010 and send your article (in English or Hindi) along with your passport size photograph and brief profile to the under signed latest by 30th October, 2010 so that it may be included in the souvenir to be printed and released on this occasion.
