About Me
They say it's never too late to start something new — but it’s only when I stepped into the role of a yoga teacher that I truly understood what that meant. Yoga came into my life not with thunder and lightning, but as a quiet whisper — a need to reconnect with myself, find stillness in a busy world, and rediscover strength beyond the physical. What started as a personal practice over 10 years ago has evolved into a calling, one breath, one pose at a time.
For years, I had built my life around responsibilities, careers, family, a difficult divorce, and all the things we’re taught to chase. But there was a quiet space in my heart that longed for something deeper — purpose, presence, peace. Yoga gave me that. And as my own practice deepened, the natural next step was to share it. I embraced my self-discovery and took a leap of faith, completing my YYT training in 2020.
Becoming a yoga teacher later in life wasn’t about flexibility or fancy poses — it was about listening, learning, and living with intention. I came with life experience, with compassion earned through time, and a calmness that only years can bring. I found that I could hold space for others — not because I had all the answers, but because I had walked many paths and finally felt comfortable in my own skin.
Now, I teach not just movement, but awareness. I don’t just guide breath — I help students reconnect with their own. I share my experience and energy on the mat by incorporating creative sequences and alignment cues to cultivate a mindful experience that fosters physical and mental strength, and every time I step onto the mat, whether as a teacher or a student, I remind myself: the journey never ends — it only deepens.
If you're ever doubting whether it's too late — for yoga, for change, for joy — I promise you, it isn’t.
About My Service
As an engaged yoga teacher working for several yoga studios, I am committed to creating inclusive, nurturing space that empower women both on and off the mat. My teaching blend’s traditional yogic philosophy with contemporary awareness, always rooted in the foundational virtues of yoga: compassion (karuna), truthfulness (satya), discipline (tapas), and self-awareness (svadhyaya).
My path has organically aligned with supporting women-led businesses and entrepreneurs in the wellness industry. Whether through collaborations, teaching in women-owned studios, or curating mindful experiences for female-focused events, my goal has always been to elevate others while staying anchored in service and authenticity.
Yoga, for me, is more than postures—it is a practice of connection and transformation. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where women can reconnect with their bodies, awaken inner strength, and cultivate clarity in their lives and ventures. I believe in the ripple effect—when women are empowered, communities thrive.
