About My Service

I am adopting hatha yoga style.
work has focused on using yoga as a gentle, supportive, and accessible practice, especially for individuals facing physical limitations, emotional challenges, and mental health concerns. I have extensive experience running group programs for people with mental health issues, offering relaxation, chair yoga, and pranayama (breathwork) in both hospital and community settings.
I have worked closely with CMHA Toronto, including collaboration with Hospital to Home Case Managers, and have facilitated yoga and breathwork groups within hospitals as well as community-based programs. This experience has deepened my understanding of trauma-informed care, aging, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and the importance of creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for every participant.

My teaching approach is:
• Gentle and adaptive, suitable for seniors of varying abilities
• Chair-based or supported, with options for limited mobility
• Breath-centered, focusing on calm, awareness, and emotional balance
• Culturally sensitive and inclusive, welcoming all backgrounds
• Non-competitive, emphasizing well-being over performance
I strongly believe that yoga for seniors is not about flexibility or physical strength alone, but about:
• Improving breathing and lung capacity
• Supporting balance and joint health
• Reducing stress, anxiety, and loneliness
• Enhancing sleep, focus, and emotional well-being
• Cultivating a sense of connection, dignity, and inner calm

Advancing in Meditation - Vipassana, sense meditation and Mindfulness.
