About Me

I began practicing yoga as a young dancer growing up in Fort McMurray, initially falling love with yoga as a form of expression through movement. As I grew older and yoga became part of my daily life, I discovered yoga is so much more than a physical discipline - it provides a foundation for personal growth, greater compassion, and intentional living.

I became a 200hr-CYA yoga teacher in 2014 through the In Balance For Life and completed my 500hr-CYA Yoga Certification in 2015. In 2017, I completed a 25hr Yoga For All Teacher training certification specializing in yoga for larger bodies and diverse communities. In 2019 I completed 25hr Lifestyle Meditation Level 1 teacher training with Mandy Trapp. From 2020-2022, I completed an Usui Reiki Level 1 & 2 Immersion, and two Sacred Energy Immersions with Isazela Imanzi (Transgressive Medicine).

In addition to yoga, my other passion is food! My full time job is teaching cooking, nutrition and food studies to grade 7-12 students.

About My Service

Every time you step on your mat is an opportunity to discover something about yourself, and my classes focus on creating space for self-care through joyful, intuitive movement.

I teach a wide variety of yoga classes, and currently teach regular classes at a community studio.

I am a passionate advocate for diversity and body positivity within the yoga community and media. I teach classes that are accessible and inclusive to people of all shapes, sizes, abilities, and backgrounds. I am presently very focused on increasing accessibility the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in yoga spaces and providing inclusivity training for instructors and studios.
