About Me
I am the owner of Tranquil Corners Yoga, but I'm not your average yogi—I am a superhero nerd and foodie extraordinaire! With credentials as an E-RYT 500, CYA-E-RYT 500, and YACEP, I bring not only my geekiness and passion for yoga but also a wealth of knowledge and compassion to my teaching.
With over three decades of experience as a Registered Nurse specializing in Mental Health and Addictions, I discovered firsthand the transformative power of yoga to heal both body and soul. This realization fueled my determination to make yoga accessible to everyone and every body, regardless of their background or ability.
At Tranquil Corners Yoga, I have lovingly created more than just a studio—it's a sanctuary designed to foster growth and healing. For me, yoga is more than just striking poses; it's a holistic journey of self-discovery woven with breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement.
Guided by my passion for compassion and my desire for personal growth, I seamlessly integrate my expertise in mental health and addictions with my love for yoga. In each of my classes I cultivate a culture of self-compassion, acceptance, and love, empowering my students to embark on their own paths of self-love and acceptance.
Join me at Tranquil Corners Yoga and discover the boundless potential for growth and joy that lies within you.
About My Service
Yoga for Every Body, Every Soul
At the heart of my teaching is a belief that yoga is for everyone. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or seeking to deepen your connection to self, I offer a warm, welcoming space where all are embraced with kindness and care.
My offerings are as diverse as the souls who walk through my door. I teach beginner’s yoga as a gentle invitation to begin, to breathe, and to belong. Hatha yoga is rooted in tradition, balancing strength and softness. Gentle yoga offers slow, mindful movement for restoration and renewal, while chair yoga provides accessible and empowering practices that bring yoga to every body. I also offer meditation and mindfulness practices—beautiful pauses in the day to listen, feel, and simply be. For those seeking a little fire, core yoga builds strength from the center, fostering resilience inside and out. And for the youngest yogis, kids yoga brings playful, imaginative movement and mindfulness to nurture little hearts and growing minds.
Classes are available in a variety of settings to meet your needs. I offer private and semi-private sessions that are personalized, supportive, and deeply attuned to you. Group and corporate classes are also available, designed to cultivate connection, community, and well-being in shared spaces. Whether you prefer to practice in my studio or would like me to bring yoga to your home, workplace, or special event, I’m happy to meet you where you are—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Whether you’re seeking stillness, strength, or simply a safe space to breathe, I’m here to guide you with compassion, joy, and an open heart. Let’s grow together—one breath, one class, one moment at a time.
