This short course was a refresher for me on learning how yogic breathwork, asana practice and relaxation techniques can strengthen resilience and help to create emotional balance. As Kathryn points out with continued practice, you can increase your capacity to manage stress and navigate life's challenges with more grace and confidence.
It included an explanation of the vagus nerve and the role it plays in the autonomic nervous system and how it relates to Dan Siegel's Window of Tolerance model for moving in and out of stress.
