Our Holistic Wellness Yoga Teacher Training is more than an instructional program—it’s a transformative experiential journey that empowers individuals to embody and share the principles of yoga as a holistic wellness practice. We believe that yoga is not just about physical movement but a deeply enriching journey toward balance, self-discovery, serenity and overall well-being. By integrating ancient wisdom, like Ayurveda, with modern wellness techniques, we prepare our students to serve diverse populations with individualized guidance in physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual growth.

Beyond conventional yoga training, our curriculum emphasizes the mind-body connection, breathwork, meditation, embodiment and practical wellness applications, ensuring graduates become compassionate, skillful, and insightful teachers. For example, one of our graduates, who initially joined the program to deepen their personal practice, later developed a specialized approach for helping individuals cope with anxiety. By combining pranayama (breath control), restorative yoga poses, and guided mindfulness techniques, they created a tailored class designed to support emotional resilience and authenticity—demonstrating how yoga can serve as a powerful tool for empowerment and transformation.

This training isn’t just about learning poses; it’s about cultivating a profound understanding of yoga as a wellness modality that can uplift and support others on their journey toward greater harmony and self-awareness.

Course Outline

Anatomy & Physiology
Understanding body structures and functions is essential for safe yoga practice, injury prevention, and optimizing movement efficiency. A solid grasp of anatomy enhances awareness of muscular engagement, joint mobility, and body mechanics, allowing practitioners to refine their practice and prevent strain.

Breath & Nervous System
Breathing techniques, particularly pranayama, influence the autonomic nervous system, helping regulate stress responses. Proper breathing enhances oxygen flow, promotes relaxation, and balances sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous activity, improving resilience to stress and mental clarity.

Spine & Core Stability
Yoga strengthens the core muscles that support the spine, improving posture and reducing back pain. Core engagement helps stabilize the body, creating a foundation for strength, balance, and injury prevention. Maintaining spinal integrity is crucial for avoiding compression and misalignment.

Mind-Body Connection
Awareness of anatomical function enhances mindfulness, reducing tension and fostering greater control over movement and relaxation. Yoga encourages present-moment awareness, allowing practitioners to integrate breath, movement, and intention for deeper self-awareness.

Study of Asanas
Yoga postures (asanas) are studied for their alignment, benefits, and influence on the body, mind, and breath. Each pose has unique physical and energetic effects, from enhancing flexibility to stimulating organ function. Proper alignment ensures safety, efficiency, and optimal engagement.

Study of Pranayama
Pranayama techniques regulate breath, enhance vitality, calm the mind, and balance energy flow. Different breathing patterns impact physiological and psychological states, whether through cooling breaths for relaxation or energizing techniques for mental clarity.

Study of Energy SystemsThis explores the chakras, nadis, and prana dynamics, aiming to harmonize internal energies. Chakras are energy centers in the body that influence emotional and physiological states, while nadis are pathways through which prana (life force) circulates.

Study of Energy Bodies
Beyond the physical body, yoga recognizes subtle layers that influence emotions and consciousness. These include the etheric, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies, which connect the physical self to higher states of awareness.

Yoga Philosophy
Rooted in ancient texts, yoga philosophy guides spiritual growth, ethics, and holistic well-being. Concepts from the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Upanishads offer insights into meditation, self-discipline, and personal transformation.

Teaching Methodology
Yoga teacher training emphasizes experiential learning, alignment-based techniques, philosophy, and anatomy. Instruction integrates sequencing, adjustments, communication, and student-centered guidance for a well-rounded teaching approach.

Ethics in Teaching
Teaching ethics focus on authenticity, inclusivity, integrity, and respect—ensuring teachers create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for students.
