About Me

I have worked as an Orton-Gillingham tutor and Education Assistant with children for the past twelve years. I am a performance poet, and I tour around to various festivals and venues (art galleries, coffee houses) to give spoken word performances or facilitate writing workshops. I am also an environmentalist, and I believe that humans need to slow down and reconnect with the life around them.

About My Service

I teach Kidding Around Yoga (KAY), which is based on the integral style of yoga. Each class incorporates pranayama, asanas, meditation and even discussions of karma. While yoga is a serious pursuit I believe, like KAY does, that learning should be fun especially when you are teaching children, so the KAY way incorporates games and music to help children understand yoga and its benefits.
