Shivanand Educational Society 2007
During a visit to Goa in 2007, I enjoyed daily yoga sessions with guru Sivanand-ji, a yoga teacher from the Shivanand Educational Society of Varanasi, India. I learned and trained with guru for 7 weeks, after which he suggested I travel to the Himalayas to study with the Sivananda Vedanta Forest Academy, which I did a year later in 2008, where I achieved my certification.
